Here are some photos I took July 19, 2000 at a local (Applewood Mall, Mississauga, Ontario) cruise night.

A 49 Ford about to bite its owner.

The pride of ownership shows all over this car.

The inside looks as good as the outside.

I wonder if this is old or new?

When the first owner of this car brought it home new, I guarantee the whole family piled in right away for a ride.

A Karmann Ghia to keep my Beetle company!

Another Beetle! I thought I had the only one left.

A great looking old Ford. 40, or 41 Maybe?

A cool 58 Caddy.

This is a remarkably original looking old Chrysler.

I think it has a straight 8 in it.

The paint actually looked like the stuff put on at the factory (a little thin in places) and the car was for sale.

This is an Auburn. The first one I have ever seen, but this one might be a kit car.

I think it was ahead of its time.

A red and Black Corvette, you don't see many like this.

It has a 427 and a 4 speed!

A hot rod with a surrey on top.

A 60 Ford..... sure looks BIG.

A row of old timers.

Another rod, without a surrey on top.

I'm gonna buy me a Mercury and cruise it on down the road.

I think this must be the car that inspired the song.

A great looking Porsche 356, a 66 or so I think. The headlight pots look identical to the ones in my 66 Beetle.

I wonder if I could talk him into a trade?

Mind you I know where there is another (1961 I think) that doesn't need much more than a paint job and some tires. It has not been used for 25 years!

Ever time I see this truck, it has a little more done to it!

Now this is a really good looking old Ford.

It is as straight as an arrow and looks original to me.

They don't come much nicer than this unless they are in a museum.

Another Beetle! A 56 with a 10,000 watt stereo system!

It was turned up loud and the little car was jumping up and down!

An unusual colour on this pristine Corvette. GM did use this colour on millions of 59 Chevrolets, however. My dad had one.

Another 58 Caddy, this one painted for evening use.

A gorgeous 55 Chev rag top.

Another Chev rag top, about a 62 I think.

A great looking Ford (37 I think) pickup.

It has an Isuzu diesel engine! Henry must be spinning in his grave.

Another Corvette with an unusual colour.

A Model A, I presume.

If anyone knows anything more about any of these cars, drop me a line and I will add the info to the page.
