Here are some photos I took Saturday August 12, 2000 at a local (Applewood Mall, Mississauga, Ontario) cruise night.

It's not too often you see one of these juiced up.

A nice straight looking 65 (I think) Pontiac.

This is a 64 Ford that is slowly being restored to its original condition and configuration.

There are always lots of Mustangs at these shows.

There should be... Ford's Oakville Assembly Plant is not very far away.

Here is a pair of 50's Ford Pickups.

One of them still has a flat head V8!

I don't know what he entered.... but he won several times!

This 63 Mercury is one of the straightest cars around. It still has all it's original body, with no repairs.

The present owner has had it for 23 Years.

The whole shopping centre shook when this car started up to leave.

A wild paint job on this Chevy pickup (68 maybe?)

Another pony car.

A little rag top, as sharp as a tack.

This 55 Chev has some serious goodies under the hood.

A pair of reds.

I wonder why the louvres are in the hood?

The next three vehicles drove in from Port Perry! (a hundred miles away)

This one is a really sharp 56 Chev 4 door hardtop.

His buddy has an equally sharp 56 Ford.

The third one is a Ford Pickup that is for sale.

I had to take another shot of this Chevy.

Not many Ramblers left.

This one had a wild paint job you can't really see in the photo.

I wonder what his chrome bill was?

This Ford (48 maybe?) had a great looking new oak floor in the bed.

This car said Studebaker on it.

It was very well done up.

I have never seen one like it before.

It's a bird! It's a plane! NO.... it's Superbeetle!

Very groovy. Says so right on the licence plate.

A Corvair rag top!

The present owner bought it new. Just had it done up... almost finished.

GM's answer to the Beetle!

Apparently the engine was designed by Porsche.

A big Chrysler rag top.

A trio of Mid-Engine GM Cars! Fieros, with plastic bodies if I remember right.

A perfect looking SS.

SS stands for Super Sport, and this is the super part.

He did it for a Lark.

A pair of Mercurys cruising on down the road.

Three 59 Chevs!

These seem to be getting very rare.

One of them is a truck!

Remember these wild dashes?

There is nothing quite as distinctive as the rear end of a 59 Chev!

Get a load of the bubble skirts!

This must be one of the biggest two door cars ever built!

This fellow brought his Chevrolet in quite late (in the dark!)

It really looked well done.

If anyone knows anything more about any of these cars, drop me a line and I will add the info to the page.
